Security is hard :/

My phone has been giving me trouble.

To get it out of trouble, the repair people need the password for diagnostics access.

My phone is already not in my possession, and even if it was, I couldn’t change the password because phone trouble.

And even if I did change the password (so I could give them a new one and could change it back to the one I remember when I get the phone back) they would still have the password to the device, which is linked to my private email account.

So yeah.

The solution shall be: Use remote wipe, tell them the password, hope the phone wipes when they get it running, then re-establish the phone when I get it back.

But god damn.

I’m glad I have two phones at least.
