It’s great that we can all have fun passing around that video of Richard Spencer getting punched in the head, secure in the knowledge that the people who are cheering this on all definitely have really restrictive definitions of “nazi” and would never place us or anyone we know in this category of people who it’s laudable to brutalize and murder, and certainly not on the basis of minor disagreements. We’re pretty lucky, huh, that nobody with social power would be on board with that kind of frivolous application of the “nazi” label.

So, there’s no good reason at all not to magnify and applaud this vicious delight in political violence! Which is good, since it’s totally awesome, and my opinion of someone goes waayyy up when I discover that they think that kind of thing is funny and cool.

It sure is fun being the good guys, isn’t it?
