there is nothing that inherently separates white nationalism from any other given nationalism. nothing about the idea that all white people are part of the same nation is fundamentally more absurd than the idea that there is some ineffable national spirit which unites all italians, for instance, or all chinese people (to name only two ‘nations’ uniting people of wildly diverse cultural backgrounds, mutually unintelligible languages, etc.)
like most nationalisms it will seem somewhat ridiculous and far-fetched to everyone who is not a proponent, until it becomes a political fait accompli, at which point it will suddenly seem like the most obvious thing on earth and that nothing else could ever have been the case
