Turns out, there IS still an official source for copies of the original C89 standard, despite it having been withdrawn and made unavailable from most standards orgs. Which is good, since gnu89 is an extension of it, which a minor side project that I use called “Linux” still uses as its dialect.

However, it’s the Australian version:
