what’s a good breakfast for summer though when it’s stinking hot?
how does one make muesli that’s actually delicious without being just an excuse to suck honey straight from the bee?
Chilled greek yoghurt with some toasted milled oats folded in, lightly drizzled with honey or syrup.
Flatbread with cream cheese and freshly cut chives.
Make oatmeal the evening before, let it chill in the fridge overnight. Add fresh fruit in the morning.
If you have left-over potatoes, take them out of your fridge, slice them and serve on coarse bread – adding chives, tomatoes or whatever else you want.
What all these things have in common is that they are cold, and have a relatively large heat capacity so they stay cold until consumed (unless you’re leaving them out in the sun.)
