hmm. can you tenderize meat by electrocuting it? someone do this and put it on youtube

…maybe? I know less about tenderization than I do about electricity.

I would think running a current through dead meat would either do nothing if the current were low or cook it if it were high.

Depending on the freshness of the meat, there’s a hidden third option where it makes the muscle contract, which I don’t believe would be good for tenderness (unless you make it contract so much it breaks apart, but I’m not sure it’s possible to do that on the ATP remaining in meat – that would be expended fast without a circulatory system keeping things balanced)
